The RETAIL7 system stores all the transactions that have taken place throughout the business since the POS system was installed. This report runs automatically as soon as the POS system is used for the first time, and can be retrieved under My Dashboard -> Reports -> Transactions. By default, the transactions here are sorted by date and time, but by clicking on the titles of the columns the data can be sorted accordingly. Also, the default setting is the current day and all stores, but you can choose other time frame and the store you need from the rolldown menus.
In the overview the database ID, the date and time, the transaction status (whether it was finished, suspended or canceled), the transaction ID, the store ID, as well as the store name and address, the name and role of the cashier, the workstation ID, the till ID, the total value, the tip, and the total (including tip) are displayed. The transaction database can be downloaded directly to your system by clicking on the Download button in the header, after the appropriate file format is selected.
By clicking on a transaction and then on the View button, you can see more details of the particular transaction on the first tab of the datasheet, called Receipt. From the PDF tab you can download the transaction data directly to your system in PDF format.
