The new receipt printer for the retail7 POS system has no WLAN? No problem! We explain how the printer can be integrated into the network without any problems.
To do this, the printer must first be connected to the router.
Maybe the router has the possibility to connect the printer directly via LAN cable and it then integrates it directly into the network. About this, consult the router's manual.
If the router is able to do this, the printer can be found in the Management Console of the cash register under My organization → Organizational units → Printers and can be accessed automatically.
It can then be assigned to a cash register under Organizational units → Devices. In this way, the receipt printer can be used as if it were connected to the device. Then simply select the receipt printer as the network printer for the system.
