4.5 Stock management

With the help of the stock management sevices of the RETAIL7 system, it is possible to carry out inventory, managing stock movements, checking the always up-to-date current stock, and even getting notification about items being low on stock. To be able to use these functions, it is important that first you have to activate the stock management option for all the items you would like to see in stock management and inventory. You can do this when adding a new item or afterwards, by editing already added items (Menu → Master data → Items → Item list).

In the following chapters we would like to explain what these functions can do and how they can be used most effectively.
