7.8 Time tracking

The RETAIL7 system has a detailed time tracking function, which books the check-in and check-out timestamps of everyone in every store (please learn more about this funcion in the "5. Time tracking" chapter). These data can be viewed and downloaded from the Management Console in report forms under My Dashboard -> Reports -> Time tracking, as a journal or as a summary.

How to create time tracking reports

Go to My Dashboard -> Reports -> Time tracking and choose which report you would like to generate.

Time tracking journal

Here you can find a detailed overview of every registered action of all employees in all stores. In the overview you can see the date and time when the enty was created, the name of the store, the related user, the action of the user and the changed by record.

The entries are sorted by date and time, but by clicking on the titles of the columns the data can be sorted accordingly. The default setting is the current day and all stores, but you can choose other time frame and the store you need from the rolldown menus.

The report can be downloaded directly to your system by clicking on Download and choosing the needed file format.

Time tracking summary

This report gives a detailed overview about the number of working hours of all employees in all stores. In the overview you can see the database ID and the first and last name of the employee, their e-mail address, the user state and the exact hours/minutes they worked.

The entries are sorted by database ID, but by clicking on the titles of the columns the data can be sorted accordingly. The default setting is the current day and all stores, but you can choose other time frame and the store you need from the rolldown menus.

The time tracking summary report can be downloaded directly to your system by clicking on Download and choosing the needed file format.
