As a desktop scanner, we recommend the Newline HR32 Marlin BT / HR32 Marlin BTHC handheld barcode scanner, among others. It is precise, fast and can be used flexibly. It is also available as a cradle variant, which is connected directly via USB (for example under Linux, Windows or Mac) and then functions there as an HID scanner. The communication between cradle and scanner is done via Bluetooth.
Since it is a professional scanner, it can be programmed and may need to be customized to meet the appropriate requirements.
