7.4.6 Hospitality

The hospitality area is the one that deals with serving customers in the form of e.g. food and beverages. Hospitality areas with the corresponding tables or seats can be created for this area under My organization. In this way, the business can be digitally entered into the retail7 tree structure.

7.4.6.1.1 General settings

These settings are valid for the entire store. Separate settings can be assigned to levels only with the help of the tree diagram.

  1. Open the menu → System settings.

  2. Click on General under the Hospitality menu.

  3. Enter the ID of the device of your master store.

The master store is the main store and is therefore superior to all others. The ID of the device is only assigned once. This means that each device can be assigned uniquely, since the numbers are never assigned twice.

4. Specify the short and long time limit in milliseconds.

The minimum or maximum time limit is defined here. All times below or above this limit are not allowed.

5. Click on Save.

7.4.6.1.2 General settings Assign structure chart

In retail7 it is possible to assign settings to layers based on a tree structure. These configurations apply to the layer as well as to all sublayers.

ATTENTION: In the structure diagram, the top level (System) is automatically selected, so the General Settings apply to all elements of the structure.

  1. Open the menu → System settings.

  2. Click on General under the Hospitality menu.

  3. Expand the structure diagram.

All created organizational units can be seen here. These can be configured under Menu → My Organization.

4.Select the level to which the general settings are to be assigned.

All sublevels are automatically selected and the general settings are assigned here as well. Thus, store 1 can have different settings than store 2.

5. Enter the ID of the device of your master store

The master store is the main store and is therefore superior to all others. The ID of the device is only assigned once. Thus, each device can be assigned uniquely, since the numbers are never assigned twice.

6. Specify the short and long time limit in milliseconds.

The minimum and maximum time limit is defined here. All times below or above this are not permitted.

7. Click Save.

7.4.6.2 Ordercube

retail7 supports the use of Ordercube. This cube shows when, for example, guests have paid or want to order.

  1. Open the menu → System settings.

  2. Click on Ordercube under the Hospitality menu.

  3. Specify the API key for your Ordercube.

The API key is used to verify the Ordercube account.

4. Click Save.
