10.2.1 Data exchange



Data import and export settings define the data exchange between RETAIL7 and other systems, specifying which database fields should be imported or exported. To see which are these, open the System settings -> Import / Export Data exchange menu.




Data exchange settings overview

By clicking on a table name, the Data Exchange view opens with three tabs:

  • Export: Displays the export configuration.

  • Import: Shows the import configuration.

  • Overview: Provides the data schema as a JSON schema, along with a JSON example.

You can edit the current export and import configuration settings or add new ones, but the default RETAIL7 setup is designed to be compatible with most systems, thus, we strongly recommend keeping it as is. If changes are necessary, please contact our support team.
